2019 is going to be big. Another artist is getting a biopic film based on the person, and that person is Elton John. The film is called Rocket Man [named after the song]. Elton John himself is currently on his final tour, and the tour is called Farewell Yellow Brick Road, which kicked off last September in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The first round in North America ends March 18th in Orlando, Florida. In the fall of 2019, Elton will be coming back to North America for a second round of shows across the continent, which will include two shows in Vancouver. That run starts on September 4th in Salt Lake City and ends on November 16th in Uniondale, New York, which will also mark Elton's last-ever concert in North America. Here is an article from Rolling Stone which I thought would be interesting. It's about the initial announcement.

On November 16th, 2018, I went to the biopic film Bohemian Rhapsody at SilverCity. The film starred Rami Malek from Night at the Museum as the Queen frontman Freddie Mercury. It was very good. The film featured several songs from the band Queen. The film ended after Live Aid and featured a note saying "Freddie Mercury died of AIDS-related pneumonia on the 24th of November 1991. He was 45 years old." You can check out a review from Rotten Tomatoes here.

Recently, I was rereading Andy's social media powerpoint presentation and the notes said that there was a disparity for those without access to social media. If I didn't have a laptop, it would be almost impossible for me to do this particular course, as I have an accomodation to use a keyboard [my typing is better than my handwriting]. I take public transit, it would be challenging to travel to Camosun's computer lab all the time to do my assignments [and use D2L] instead of in the comfort of my basement apartment.

My comment on question 2 for Connected but Alone

Over the past two years, cell phones have become a problem in certain events, with many musical artists and comedians banning fans from using cell phones whenever they host an event. This has led to certain artists wanting a phone-free show, which results in the venue issuing Yondr pouches for cell phones. In addition, the venue would also issue a warning saying "Anyone caught with a cell phone in the venue will be immediately ejected."

This class isn't going to get any easier. This photo assignment should be cool, though. I'm doing the assignment at Ford Rodd Hill.
